Made for Malawi 🇲🇼
Car Share connects drivers who have spare seats with passengers heading the same way, from Area 25 to City Centre, Area 47 and beyond.
We are not a taxi company and we do not sell rides. We help people split what a trip already costs, so everyday journeys across Malawi become more affordable, more social and, above all, safer.
Drivers post their spare seats. People going the same way join.
Verified drivers, start codes, live tracking and SOS on every ride.
Split the fuel within a legal cap. Cash to the driver, no commission.
Malawi first. Ready for the UK and India.
No meters, no surge, no surprises. Just people going the same way, sharing what the trip costs.
A verified driver shares where they are going, when, and how many seats are free.
Search your From and To, pick a ride and request to join. The driver accepts or declines.
Pay your share of the fuel in cash at pickup. The price can never go above the legal cap.

Driver rating, seats left, vehicle and price per seat, all up front.
The app blocks any price above the legal cap for your distance.
Start code, live tracking, Be Safe and SOS on every ride.
Tell drivers where you’re going and let them send you offers.

Passengers pay you in cash at pickup. We take no commission.
Set a recurring ride, such as Mon–Fri, Area 47 → City Centre, 5:30 PM.
See each passenger’s profile and accept or decline every request.
Every trip is recorded, so you can see what you recovered and that it stayed within the cap.
Car Share is for sharing costs, not making a profit. So every route has a legal maximum per seat, and the app blocks anything above it.
The rule
Cap per seat = distance × MK 130 per km
Rates are set per country: MK/km in Malawi, £/mi in the UK, $/mi in the US and ₹/km in India.

Eight protections come with every ride, for passengers and drivers alike.
Licence, vehicle photos and number plate are checked before a driver’s trips go live.
A 4-digit code on your booking. The driver enters it to start the ride.
Follow the car on the map and get a “1 stop away” alert before pickup.
Send your driver’s name, vehicle and plate to trusted contacts over WhatsApp.
One tap during a ride alerts our safety team.
Talk to your driver or passenger without ever showing your real number.
Choose Women only when you search or post, and ride only with women.
Reviews and a reliability score are visible before you share a ride.
In an emergency in Malawi, call 997 for police or 998 for an ambulance first.
For women
Women drivers. Women passengers. Your ride, your comfort.
Free to use

Women can choose to share a ride only with other women, as a passenger or as a driver. One tap when you search or post, and it costs nothing extra.
In your profile, choose Woman, Man or Prefer not to say. It is used only for women-only matching.
Set it as your travel preference when you search for a ride, post a trip or post a request.
You are matched with women drivers and passengers, and the ride carries a clear women-only badge.
Women-only trips are shown only to women. A women-only search shows only trips driven by women.
Women-only matching is part of safety, not a paid extra.
Gender is what you tell us. It shows as a small badge on your profile and can be changed once.
Every ride, women-only or not, also has a start code, live tracking, Be Safe and SOS. See all eight protections
